How To Dehydrate Beef Mince
Ingredients
500g beef mince, I recommend lean as you can go
1/2 cup dried breadcrumbs
Equipment Needed
I used my oven but if you have a good dehydrator that would be better
Jars
1. Start by cooking your beef mince in a non-stick pan, with no extra oil.
2. When cooked, mix in your breadcrumbs, I prefer a fine ground breadcrumb.
3. Add to your trays and dehydrate at 70 degrees C. I had to do 100 as that is as low as my oven goes.
4. When totally dry and crunchy in texture, cool down and add to your jars. I store at room temperature as I will use it fairly quickly but if storing for a long time store in airtight jars in the freezer.
5. Rehydrate and use in tacos or other recipes as you like. I might even make a homemade Bolognese sauce one day 😋!!!
