Dehydrated Jasmine Rice

 

Ingredients

As much cooked jasmine rice as you want, I used around 6 cups

 

Equipment Needed

Food Dehydrator

 

 

1. First wash and cook your jasmine rice, I did 2 cups of jasmine rice and 2 cups of water in an electric pressure cooker.

2. Line your trays with a silicone tray or baking paper. 

3. Add your rice to the trays and dehydrate at 60 to 65 degrees C.

4. When totally dry, store in airtight containers or jars.

5. This basically makes instant rice, just add some boiling water and serve when rehydrated! :) :) :)

How To Dehydrate Red Kidney Beans

As many kidney beans as you like I did 1-kg

 

Equipment

Pressure cooker or Instant Pot, or cook in a pot

Food Dehydrator

 

 

1. Start by cooking your kidney beans I cooked mine for 40 minutes in an electric pressure cooker.

2. When cooked add to your covered trays and dehydrate at 50 degrees C.

3. When dry, cool down and put into sealed containers. I put mine in ziplock bags. :)

4. Use in chilli con carne or soups and stews. Enjoy! :)
