How To Can Whole Milk
Ingredients
Whole milk, I did 2 litres for 4 x 500ml jars
Equipment Needed
Pressure Canner
500ml lug lidded jars.
1. Start by filling the jars and leave a 1 inch headspace and clean your rims.
2. Add your jars to the pressure canner and lock the lid down and vent for 10 minutes when fully steaming!
3. When vented, bring pressure to 10 lbs and turn off the heat! It's that easy :).
4. When the pressure canner goes to 0 in pressure leave in the canner for 10 minutes then allow to cool on a tea towel lined bench.
5. When cool make sure jars are sealed store in a cool and dry place! Enjoy your hard work 😁 💪

How To Can Sour Cream
Ingredients
I used around 4 x 400ml cartons of sour cream
Equipment Needed
Pressure canner
I used 300ml jars with lug lids
1. Start by packing sour cream into the jars, I left a 1 inch headspace. Make sure your rims are clean!
2. Add the jars to your canner and add water as much as your instructions say to put in.
3. Heat the canner and vent for 10 minutes when fully steaming!
4. Add your weight and bring to 10 lbs pressure and when at 10 lbs turn off the heat and let cool down and when at 0 leave in canner for 10 minutes then allow to cool on a bench with a tea towel under the jars!
5. When cool store in a cool dry place and enjoy your hard work haha! 😄
